First off, A Picture and a Thousand Words: A Celebration of the Arts, GBT's second annual winter arts event is just under two weeks away on Friday, December 14th at 7:00 pm. For those in the event, keep your eye out for an email scheduling your dress rehearsal time on the 13th. For those who plan on attending, we will open the house before the production to view our fantastic visual art and purchas concessions. Our suggested donation is $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults, though anything is apprectiated. We have a poster for the event, so keep your eyes open around the area for a glimpse! If you would like posters or small flyers to distribute, contact an Executive or Junior Board member and we will be happy to give you a few.
Secondly, this Saturday from 9am to 2pm is Grab Bag's first ever masterclass, led by GBT alum Claire Jungleib. The class will be held in the Redwood Room of the Veteran's Memorial Center. There is still some space available - check out our facebook group for direction to our signup website or contact Claire (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in joining.
Also new is a tumblr account for GBT! We're doing our best to make sure that everyone is up to date on everything Grab Bag. Keep your eyes and ears open for more information regarding GBT Caroling later this month, as well as our push for full incorporation and non-profit status in the coming months.
And finally, we had our first meeting with full Executive and Junior Board this past week. We are all so excited to end 2012 with a bang with such a dedicated and enthusiastic group.
